I don't see any "WHATEVER" in Quick Buick's reply. It appears that he was trying to help you find a solution to your problem. If someone responds to your post with what you feel isn't what you're looking for, just ignore it. No need to Google "how to punch you in your face", unless you're ten years old.

Never needed to Google that. One of the few things that I can do on my own. Like rubbing one out, Just comes natural. ( Jk, Just tossing some fuel on the fire!)

1973 gs The Water pump post. You did not read. Hey apparently Quick Buick is mad at me about the Homeless Seattle Viaduct post. When i made a joke . I apologize to all of you. If i would have realized he was snapping at me about the Seattle post. I would have laughed it off. Sorry for this mess. Just did not see it coming.

    Group hug.

I know Steve was asking about a funnel, but I'm going to go ahead and post a link to a more expensive alternative for transferring race gas.
I don't own one yet, but I've wanted to for a while now. Even if it's just to fill my small engines around the house.

Years ago, I purchased a plastic transmission funnel. I use ,though, to fill the tank from my gas cans on my '72 GS. Works good if u do not try to fill too quickly.

Agree.... get a better gas can.
My local gas station gave me a hard time when I tried to fill up my VP jugs.... 'sir, you can't put gas in those, they're not approved gas containers'. So I bought some nice NATO approved jerry cans and the same b***h hasseled me again because they were green. So I painted them red. There are some Pa 'rules' concerning what you can/cannot use to transport gas so be informed before you punch someone in the face or light the gas pumps on fire in retaliation!

Roverparts.com occasionally has these on sale. Likely the best ones on the market. Sure beats any plastic can/funnel combo you can find.

When I fill my car from a 5 gallon fuel can, I use a cheap , flexible transmission funnel that I attached a wire to through the hole at the top of the funnel. I open the deck lid and hook the wire to the striker. It keeps the funnel straight up and spills to a minimum.

That’s the best idea yet. I am going to try that. With a uniform from work coat hanger.

2 liter soda bottle cut off about 1/2 way, even has a cap to stop spills when not being used.
I use mine for oil into motors, fuel into gas tanks, work better than you would think.

X3 on the ATF funnel, I cut about 1 1/2" from the small end to help the flow, works great!

Steve-- your misconduct on this Board is getting old and has reached the limits of what will be tolerated.

This thread has run its course.
