A huge "Thank You" to Dan Jensen for allowing me to run his beautiful W-30 in the shoot out. Car performed flawless, the driver however was a tad bit rusty. Can't believe it has been 4 years since I've ran a car at the event. I forgot what it was like trying to hook 500 lbs-ft of torque to the track on a 4 inch wide tireou: Learned the car like to be shifted 1st-2nd at 37mph, and the 2-3 at 70mph:3gears: Racing this past weekend has re-lit the fire under my butt, and I WILL have something of my own next year. Also want to thank Lyndon,Dennis, and the rest of the people who lend their time doing tech,lining the cars up in the lanes, and the track staff. This is still the number one event for Musclecars on the planet! Thanks again, see everyone next time.

WHAT A GREAT TIME! Like everyone else has said THANK YOU to everyone who puts so much time and energy into making this event happen! Family issues kept us (Jeff, me & the Silver. Slug)away for 7 years, something I plan on not letting happen again. Thanks to Rusty, Frank & Karen for the hospitality and food. It was so great to see old friends and making new ones. If I can find a way there will be new blood next year shoeing the Skunk. It's just the right speed for him. Until next year friends, keep the Goodyears smoking and keep wrenching towards your goals.

No party like a Pure Stock Party!!!! I'm still on cloud 9. All the 60ft work this year paid off. The trip to the Tech tent was even Painless and expected.. Yes - a big THANK YOU to all! Despite some mundane issues I ran what is a best at Stanton for my H/O of 13.78. I just have to remember to have the tank filled before I get to the track! Oh - and don't think charging a cheap (relatively) 4 year old battery will mean it will work! We were lucky with the weather - recall 2008 with the night racing and 2010 - both had rain-outs on Saturday. Whew!

Ditto !! Had a great time. The Charger ran a 14.42 @ 96 which in my mind was fan-tab-u-lous !! The best it has ever run was back in 1987 at the Musclecar Nationals. Only off a tenth and a half in 27 years LOL !! Thanks to Nick Tomlinson for the video montage from Tri-City Dragway. Awesome pix !! And hey, it was my first year drag racing being married ! Not so bad ....... As always, and it bears repeating ..... what a great bunch of racers and spectators. I have an equally great time BS'ing with y'all as I do beating on my car(s) at these events. Met some great new people this year. Just get rid of that $h!t-hole hotel ..... damn that place needs to be consumed back into the Earth from wence it came ......
Had a great time and I'm elated to be associated with the event. Not enough time to say hello to everyone but it was nice to mingle nonetheless.
