    Jim,

Or "Tester"... Thanks for the help!! :TU: Now, and I PROMISE this is the last time I ask, what's the deal with my old username, if there's any thing left of it or the posts at all?? Do you think I should just stay with this one, or re-register with my old name like Mike Garrison did? I kind of like the old one....

Oh yeah, what about the mod status??

    I know, I know, I'm a pain in the a*&!!

    Jim,
Thank You! I knew I wasn't crazy (well at least about this one item).
Am sure you are going to be hit with many questions as things go on.

    Again, Thanks! :beer

And you can now quote a previous message.. just hit quick reply on the post you want to quote, and check the options box below it..

so what's with this "go advanced" button..?

Ah... cool, it throws what you just typed into the regular reply screen..

I know I have typed stuff in the old "quick reply" box, and then wanted to add, say, a "rant guy" but had to cut and paste to the regular reply screen..

Now you can add the rant guy after you have 500 words in the quick reply box, just by "going advanced"

Worth a rant guy.. to the smart guy who figured that out..

I'm likin' this new format.. oh wait, I gotta go advanced..

Gotta raise a brew ... :beer

As a review, the quick reply icon it is talking about, is right next to the "Quote" button.. took me a while to find it the first time too, so don't feel bad.

    Ok,

So I did unto you as you appeared to do unto me... I went quick reply button, hit the quote box, then hit the advanced button. :TU:

My next question is; Why do we need a quote button if it can all be done in combination with the quick reply button?

I guess quote does let us go straight "here" with one touch, instead of a couple.

    Either way, me likes.

Only reason for having to hit the quick reply button is this..

Your telling the software which post you want to quote, if you chose to do that.

That is how I did this one.. it helps keep the train of thought straight in a thread.. have you ever wondered "who is this guy replying to?.. I know I have

And you don't have to go advanced, it's just an option.. if you want to add smilies or change font, text, or color in your post. or add a post icon.

I haven't had any problems with font size.

Having that huge title bar seems to add some unnecessary scrolling though. All the information along the top of each post used to fit nicely on the side. The only problem was that pictures had less space for width and sometimes required right/left scrolling.

I'm just happy to have it back!

    gotbuick What, me worry?

Same thing here. The page seems to be too far to the right> Half the smilies are missing, no way to scroll over. :beer <(there is only half of this smilie currently)

OK, I have two questions...first one is why do my attachments show up as files, with the need to click on them?? If I try to imbed the photo, it asks for a http:// address, so i assume only pics already online can be inserted into the thread?

Also, under users CP, I can view all my attachments. Cool. Some of them have a N/A under thread...so I assume the thread is gone and won't be coming back?? I could delete these files and save some space on the server....we might prompt others to do the same.

Good to be back...do we need more money to support the new setup??

    Threads Sorting?

Mike, great job getting the site back up. Am getting used to the changes, all in all everything's fine.

One thing I just noticed though is that the sorting of the posts seems kind of funky.

For example, I did a quick reply on a thread but that didn't move it to the front of the list as a more current post. Stayed where it was before but with the date of last post out of sequence with the ones around it.

Also, am seeing the "Sticky"s mixed in the middle of the listings rather than at the top of page 1.

Strikes me as a little odd that the sticky's and new posts aren't being moved to the front automagically like they were before.

Edit: Answered my own question again. You can't go to page one and refresh it anymore. Evidently now you have to hit the "new posts" button on the bar to get a new list with the sort updated.

OK, solved my own question...one picture imbeds into thread, more than one becomes files that you need to click on....

FYI, as i know I was not the only one wondering.
