This is the third annual event to be held on sunday may 27th to all buick/olds/pontiac powered or bodied cars. Saturday's event is open to all cars. Sunday has 3 classes of nostalgia and 3 classes of BOP. Hope to see some v8buick members at this event. the location is at madras dragstrip in central oregon. We offer free camping. Entry fee is $35 and spectators are $7 kids 12 and under are free. Come be a part of the defending Buick championship team that has dominated this event since it's beginning. Team Buick took first again. It was an all Buick Final with me taking first in my 70' GS against a buddy of mine that was borrowing my 67 Skylark. We had 5 Buicks, 31 Pontiacs, 1 Olds. The final socre was Buick(8pts) Pontiac(6pts) Olds(1pts) Does anyone know how I can get this annual event better recognition? Its embarrassing to have only 5 buicks 3 of them where mine and 31 Pontiacs.
True but the pontiacs get all of the attention because they have paint on their cars. It was cool to have an all Buick Finals, considering how we where out numbered.
