    Hi Ed,

I do appreciatte you stopping by. Good to talk with you and your son in law.

Should be good weather, little cool, but its better than rain. Just went to the upholsterers today, he confirmed the stage 1 will be done and ready to pick up.
Look forward to seeing what the car can do.

I'll keep an eye out for you. Track lunch can be on me :TU:

They pull the plug too quick at cordova! A bunch of us went byron after CDP postponed the BOP. Great turnout there. I wasn't overjoyed when they announced they were running 1/8 mi eliminations. The bastardized buick ran a 12.23 on the time trial! previous best was 12.36. Not too shabby for 91 octane on a hyd flat tappet cammed 340 (olds).
We'll try Cordova again next week.

We're waiting to hear if they ever got the ice/snow storm they were predicting - :Do No:
There was one poor soul from Minnesota who drove over 7 hours to get there - he was at our hotel.

We tried to go to Byron but it looked 'way too crowded by the time we got there. I guess we beat the snow there, too.

We have other plans for next Saturday, so I guess our season is done. Hope you have fun, and let us know how you guys did, ok?

Word was, they got a 1/2" of snow , but it "wasn't sticking"
I know it was dry as a bone when I got back from Byron.

That had to have been me. Actually it was 5 of us, the others were still in the room. We drove to Byron and got a flat on my trailer while on the way. Then about 10 miles from the track, the rain/snow started coming down. Figured we were screwed. About an hour later the skies cleared and the wind blew, but we made 3 passes. First pass resulted in my best e.t. to date, an 11.34. That made it all worth while.

It is currently snowing here in Minnesota as I type this and the salt is on the streets already. It's waaay to early for this crap. Needeless to say, my racing season is done for the year.
