Thanks, Jim. I was happy with the deal and looking back at the picture of David's 68 Cat vert interior shot, I think I just bought the same tach that is in his console if I take the back housing off. The tach was from a vendor in Ontario and it looks to have the same little knob that controls a little Yellow set hand so if that's the right tach, then my stars certainly have aligned!
