i am getting my engine close to finished and will be putting it in the car soon for mockup of a few things. for the time being it has stock 300 exhaust manifolds till i can fabricate headers for its tight packaging. my question is, im unsure what terminology is used to describe the flange that connects the exhaust manifold to the rest of the exhaust system. Also, what size flange and gasket do i need? if possible id like to run 2.25" exhaust piping from the manifolds to mufflers, then dump it right before the axle.
it appears i can use a universal exhaust flange, but can anyone tell me what size donut gasket i need for the 300 manifolds. im not sure what part to measure on the manifold collector.
