Buick did not produce a 1969 GS350 convertible.

Bruno is smarter than I. Thanks for the info. I am a nube to this car. Re-reading the VIN, it is a Skylark Custom. So how do I find out the engine that supposed to be in it? Should it have the 400?

350. Only GSs and ‘68-‘69 Sportwagons could have 400s. And oddly, GS convertibles were always big blocks until ‘71.

So, I found a 71 GS 350. Appropriate to put back into this car?

 

It’d be a good choice, should be around 9:1 compression.
