Is this something we/you Buick guys should be looking into? Doesn't fit my '64 application but potentially for you GS and/or Skylark owners? https://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-VINTAGE-1964-1966-NOS-CHEVY-4-SPEED-BOOT-3842926-CHEVELLE-BUICK-OLDS-442-GM/222890467978?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649
It's currently reproduced, about $25 from most Chev repo vendors. The same boot was used on 65-67 GS UNDER the consolette to seal the floor opening. A second boot was used IN the consolette. Early GS's used the round-stick Muncie-style shifters. Non-consolette cars used a different boot, sorta like the repo Olds boot, but smaller.
