Monte Before i hear about it this 85 monte is buick powered it has a 462 Stage 1 motor in it. it runs 11.57 give or take and is my friend Jim's Thanks Dustin
i am surprised that we have not seen that many burnout pics from the nats. i know there are smokey pics out there. Thanks Dustin
I saw this and had to find my old pics... This was 1986 with my first Buick, with a cammin' 350, 3500 stall and 3.23's...
I can't seem to get my pics on here so I'll give a link to them. http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/562863
That really looks like the "backyard special" kind of car. Sweet burnouts though! Where's the block long ones though??
The car is race only. he runs consistant 11.50's with the car he has ran a best of 11.37. The car has had the same motor for three years and he never touches it. Just pulls it off the trailor to change the fluids every year. Other wise it's stored on the trailor even :TU: To me thats impressive! Thanks Dustin
Evidence. There was smoke, I swear. My first time at the track with the Riv. My buddy didn't bring his digital camera, so all I have is this after-shot. It was my fourth run (and bad launch! Still getting used to it). Spun 'em through all three gears. :3gears: All stock 16.2 @ 85, btw.
smoke or not theres rubber on the fenders  The only time you get rubber like that is from lighting them up. Thanks Dustin
Suncoupe at GS NATS This almost got me tossed from the grounds on an empty section of blacktop near the fairgrounds .
The other set of marks is from Mike Evans Suncoupe . Maybe we can get him to putr his pics on here too .
heh.. i guess if i posted this pic it woulda been a no brainer whos driveway it was.. we got the gs back on saturday.. i missed it a lot!
definately a good way to say goodbye. For a minute there i thought that was a burnout contest pic  Thanks Dustin
I have pics of my 455 pickup in a burnout, but cannot get my website to host the pics, any takers on hosting?
