cam bearings

    I have a 400 block that I had cleaned and new cam bearings installed 13 years ago. It has sat on an engine stand covered. I want to soak it again in a cleaning fluid to remove a light rust coat. I have TA bearings installed. Can I remove them and reuse them, or get new bearings? Thanks Frank

    I would not put them back in if removed....I would try to clean them first and worst case just replace

    I would replace them,they will lose some of their crush and its inexpensive insurance. Plus they probably will get the front of them mushroomed due to the tool.
