I see it’s only 10.5 to 1 now. 12.5 to 1 works well with E85 if it’s available in your area. Many people here use it on street at over 13 to 1.
You can't go wrong with a c118 cam (228-246, 118 LS). However, the TA 288-94 (230-240 114 LS) would be very close to the c118 on DCR, good idle like the c118, but have the power of a c113 cam, and better than the Crane stage 2 on the chart noted above.
Call Scott brown for a custom built camshaft. Will spec out a cam for your combination and needs. Built a perfect cam for what I needed. Power brakes, cruises nice, nice exhaust tone, you won't be disappointed
