over the past two years i have had all the shocks, front suspension and rear suspension, coil springs, body bushings all replaced no rust or rot issues on the body mounts no sign of the car being in an accident and the car still leans on the drivers side anyone have any ideas why this is happening

Someone has to hit this one, but I will pass :spank:

Don't think that is too far out of the norm. When you have a car this old, and they did not start out from the factory that exact, you will see these variations. Sometimes you have to put away the square and the level and just eyeball the look. If it looks ok don't worry about it.

I want to. I really do but I wont.
Really, if its only a 1/2" without you sitting in the drivers seat I'd say good enough

my '67 had a real noticable lean on the driverside rear end, but I could never tell if it was the car or just my driveway.

My truck has a lean, but only when the tank is full since on the 2nd gen Rams the tank is all on one side.
    I haven't noticed a lean on my '66 yet.......course I've never looked at it while I was in it.

when sitting on level ground you can clearly see a lean I will take a pic and remeasure so you can see what I'm talking about. 1/2" over the width of a car can be seen by eye very easily

If it is bothering you, you might put a 1/4" spacer under that corner's spring. Someone with more experience than me would know if that would have any drawbacks

Firsr check tire pressures. Another thing you could try is to loosen all the control arm fasteners at all 4 wheels and bounce the car at each corner and see if it equalizes then tighten all the fasteners with the car as it sits.

Also verify that the bottoms of the coil springs are clocked in properly. The end of the bottom of the front coils need to be in between 2 inspection holes of lower control arm. Top end of the rear coils should point to the outside of the car.

That really has no drawbacks. Also the loosen and bounce is not a bad idea.

Did you check ride height at the frame? Do that and compare to body.

there was a 3/8 difference from the passenger side to the driver side the whole length of the car when the body guy was replacing the body bushings last week, I will say that having those done got rid of most of the rattles and the car feels 100% tighter

the bounce idea sounds good and check the springs
I will look at that this weekend hopefully
    thanks

u wouldn't happen to have too much spring (too strong or too long) in the right rear?

These frames were not exact from the factory believe me I've had some recent experience with them.... 1/2 seems a little much but you could have some rivets loosening that attach the spring pockets or just time will do it too. Id throw a shim under the low side and call it good as long as its not throwing the alignment off.... jmo

BINGO. Most people keep trying to fix the corner that is low when it is really the diagional corner that is to blame.

my car did this after sitting on uneven ground for many years. it took a while for it to get back to level stance but once i started parking it on concrete it sort of went back to normal. I did change the springs also but there was still some leaning so I would have to say the frame was twisting a bit on its own
