Hello everyone. I have a ’69 GS 350 with a Rochester Quadrajet. Does anybody know the torque specs and sequence for the 4 mounting bolts from the carb to the intake manifold? I can’t seem to locate it anywhere in the service manual. Thanks for the help!

No need to TQ them just 1/4in drive ratchet and half turn past seated. Just do opposite corners

Yes just start with them all finger tight and then tighten them up a bit by bit but not too much at all... Tighten one to about 5 foot pounds then the diagonal one, then the last two and then the same thing again to the final torque spec. About 13- 15 foot pounds I would say. You don't want to warp the carb base. I normally use a little bit of blue thread locker so they don't rattle loose. I also use a SUPER thin but of "the right stuff sealant" but such a thin layer not much at all. That ensures no leaks.

X2 on the 1/4" ratchet, its too easy to go crazy with a 3/8" ratchet.
If you think their not tight enough, that's perfect:D

Same rules when you install two gaskets and a (1/4" phenolic) spacer?
Half turn with ¼” ratchet. Sounds so little?

Yes same thing, and then check them after a few drives to make sure they are still tight...
