That's what I was afraid of and might continue to push back. I decided to go with Redlines from Diamondback, and they only took three days!!!

Nice Paul. Red lines are bomb. I like Diamond back 15" red lines. They use to use Michelin molds. But not their rubber. We use to sell Michelin tires. National tire and battery came along and Michelin forgot about the little guy. But they were the best tires (15") ever made.

These were made from Radial TA's and they look great. 255 60's on the rear and 225 60's on the front. 15 x 7" steelies painted #25 and dog dish caps. Can't wait!

I hope not either. I really like them and it's a better look/ride than poly's for sure. Tell them to give you your money back and buy the redlines!!!!!!

I bought a set of both 14 " and 15" BFG redlines March 20 this year. The 15" are on the SportWagon and the 14" on the GS400 Convertible. Both cars also have new rally chrome wheels bought at the same time from Coker. The 15" tires and wheels on the wagon seem to run smoothly up to 75 MPH.

I have a serious 'wobble' between 30 -45 MPH in the convertible with the 14" tires. We have checked all running gear for tightness, bushings, alignment, drive shaft, steering etc. and everything seems in good condition. Saturday we put the car on a lift leaving the wheels free and ran the engine at 1500 RPM and watched the rear wheels. The tire sidewalls and tread were 'wobbling' in and out and up and down. Today took the two wheels with tires on them to local tire store and put them on the balancing machine and asked for owner and tech to give me their opinion. After watching both tires and wheels on the machine they said the are both seriously 'out of round' I am calling Coker in the morning to inform them that I am sending the tires back for a refund. I am going to investigate Diamond Back Red lines.

You won't be sorry . You'll probably be given a HARD time returning them for a refund.

I decided to take an extra day and swapped tires to the convertible from another GS400 hardtop I have. The hardtop has original ralleys plus 14" BFG red lines that are 2+ years old. So I decided to put all four wheels/tires from the hardtop on the convertible and see how it drove. After getting the wheels/tires on the convertible with the car on the lift we started it and let the rear wheels spin. The rear wheels/tires looked a lot better than the new red lines/wheels that were on the convertible when I had the 'wobble'. So took the car off the lift and drove it on smooth asphalt street where I could go through the gears and hover at 30,35,40, 45 mph where the 'wobble' has been showing up and the most pronounced.

Results: no wobble, a bit of body 'shake' that I have always felt in convertibles since they don't have the hard steel top but these tires/wheels clearly are normal without 'out of round' issues. Then I put the bad tires/wheels on the hardtop to see if it 'wobbled' While I did not have a 'wobble' on the smooth asphalt, I did have a thump, thump I could feel in the steering wheel and when I cruised at 30 -45 mph the steering wheel had a definite vibration you could feel and see. More proof that the tires are out of round.

So tomorrow I call Coker with proof the tires are the problem. I will send them a video of the wheels/tires running on the car on the lift showing the unevenness both at the sidewalls and tread if they resist my claim. I checked the mileage since we put the wheels/tires on the car in early April and I have 113 miles on them.

So, lets see what happens tomorrow.

Looks like 5 months. Coker got it together. I'd be out of business. If I ran my business like that.
