So, I have a 1981 Electra Park Ave in Light Caramel (looks much darker up close, more like poop brown to me... but in the sun from afar it does look very light and shiny still)

    Here is my car now:

In your opinion, should I re-paint with the OEM paint, or go fancy with this candy root beer paint that I've taken a liking to?

Here is the candy root beer on an Impala:

As for the wheels, I'm pretty much set on these dayton wires:

(currently 15" wheels, was thinking about going to 16")

But wheels question is, should I stick with the thin whitewalls, or go with 3" wide whitewalls?

Any opinions or advice would be appreciated, thanks :)

    colour - impala candy rootbeer
for wheels - all i can say is u will eventually grow to hate wired wheels because u have to clean each spoke individually. been there, done that, and never again.
tires - thin whitewall not 3 inch.

did you use a power washer to clean your wheels?
do you think that would ease the cleaning a good bit?

I really want to put fresh chrome rims on, but I'm not into the big, tacky chrome rims most young people are putting on their cars now. I really like the look of wires.
