Control Arm Bushings - CARS

    I don't see why not. The bigger problem is that the lowers used oval bushings and 2 different sized round ones. Gotta see what you have before you order. There are enough A body suppliers out there. Not sure CARS bushings would be better than others.
     
  3. Larry, I have heard of the oval bushings before but honestly I have never seen a Buick with oval lower control arm bushings , i'm wondering if that was a east coast thing. most of the cars I have owned were Fremont or Flint built.

    Not sure, but my 72 Skylark had them.

    I thought all Buick came with the ovals. I thought I read the rounds were the cheaper ones. My 70 has ovals.

    I think it depended more on where your car was built,or where the chassis parts came from. After owning more than 40 of the 70-72 Cutlass/442's,I can tell you that ALL of them had ovals. I haven't owned as many Buicks,but so far,all round. You can swap the lower arms though.
