Appreciate the kind words. Daughters are great! She will be headed to OSU or Case Western next year. Guess I better get a bit more serious about some property investments haha. Thanks again Brad, stay tuned for some additional pictures...its been crazy around here.

My Grandson would like to borrow your PROTOTYPE for his prom night, he needs a car that will fit 5 of his friends.
Don't worry they said they'd clean out all the beer cans before they give it back ! LOL

Sorry moon....it only sits a total of FIVE. I wouldn't want him to get in trouble with the law because there weren't enough seat belts to go around...

    ;)

Come on Brad, they have a rather large friend who's #5, I'm sure he could fit in the trunk.
You remember the trunk days hey pal ?
I'll make sure they run it thru the car wash before they bring it back.
We have a real good car wash down here, all the Mud Truckers wash their trucks there.

The hard boot is key for parades..We have a parade in town I drive in every year now for 20+ years. I generally drive the teacher/fireman/policeman of the year, etc.. and my go-to car is my 72 Grand Ville which like the Centurian is built for parade duty. This year though, the axle was apart so I had to use the 65 GS as a back up..

You have to be carefull with people sitting on the hard parade boot, I have seen them broken because of it. Have seen them crack and have also seen the center locking tabs broken off. A good habit to get into stuffing blankets under the boot to fill in the void to help support the boot. I actually made a thick padded board that went across the back seat to raise the person up without them having to walk all over the back seat and sit on the parade boot. The fiberglass boot was first available on 71 Eldo's. In 72 only Buick & Cadillac had the "customline" parade boot as an option, there is some documentation that a few Olds 88's also got them as an option. Chevy and Pontiac did not have the option in 72 but many were retrofitted with the fiberglass boots as they became more popular, the same boot of coure fit all the full size GM's from 71-76.
