Correct rear shock lower bolts

I know where to buy the ones like Jason shows in the picture above.

 

Or get creative with a grinder. Something tells me I couldn’t do the same.

 

I know a yard that had a bunch of these. One set was on a 72 Skylark that had spirals on it for some reason? I though they got discontinued in 70? That car got crushed and I kicked myself. I am sure there are plenty more but I am less motivated to crawl through the mud and the ticks that infest the place in Spring.

Frank, where at ? Monroe discontinued the strut kit and no one shows inventory anymore.

 

Here you go Don, I think these are the ones I've used before. Just a bit different than the Monroes, the long nuts are available from Inline. Once painted shock color, they are ok.

Looks like the bolts I used may be available from Speedway Motors. Is there any interest in another run of my kits?

 

I would buy 1 set and probably 2 if you made them again. I can probably get at least 3 more sales if I call my "immediate" Buick Family as well.
