"Correct Size Wheel Trim Rings Needed for Steel Wheels"...

Discussion in 'Parts wanted' started by patshotrods, Mar 8, 2020.

  1. I am getting ready to put some Buick Dog Dish Hubcaps on my 1972 Buick Skylark 4-Door Sedan pictured below, I found some Dealer Showroom Take Off Buick Dog Dish Hubcaps, they just need to be cleaned up a little once I get them in the mail, but I don't want to have to paint my factory wheels, I want to leave the factory paint on them but I need to do something about where the original hubcaps have made marks on the wheels over the years so I thought about putting a set of trim rings on to cover this up.

Can someone tell me what size trim ring that I should put on there as well as maybe sending me some pictures of what I need. I am pretty positive that my wheels are 14x6.

    Please Advise...

Thanks in advance for your help and time!

Just a guess but these are what the trim rings that fit an SS wheel (14x6) look like. 2EEB14D4-2D35-46B4-861D-5622059E436C.jpeg

I just put a trim rim on one of my 14x6 wheels with the only dog dish I had laying around, to give you an idea of how those fit/look on a plain wheel. Oh and I dented the dog dish putting it on so you owe me $45.00. 8131807C-78AA-40D2-BC4D-9A2C8315D962.jpeg 577D991C-A960-4CE4-BABA-BC93CC7D3ECC.jpeg
