hopefully someone can steer me in right way:
    1. my 71 lark i replaced the 350 with 73 455, can i use the trans cooler lines, if not braided? what can i use?

    2. the plug that connects the main engine wiring harness is split in two, it will hold but afraid it will jar loose, do they make a replacement plug (plugs into firewall) that i can splice in?

    thanks

Disclaimer: There are smarter people on here than me but...
The trans cooler lines should be the same with the same end fittings for T-350 and
T-400 but they may have to be bent a little differently. You could also use braided stainless steel or maybe upgrade to a push-lock hose and fitttings.

To the best of my memory the main harness is split from the factory. Two pieces join together at the firewall and are then bolted to the bulkhead connector.

10-4 on the trans lines, the plug is broken the plastic sheared off half of it

I believe turbo 400 lines will be different. They are not that expensive

Check with American Autowire for the plug. They make harnesses and *might* sell you the plug.
