Cross drill or fully grooved mains?

If there's a port mismatch from height, you can easily raise the head's opening to meet the intake's, and live with one already a tad high without penalty

 

Yes but TA put in screw bosses for a shield on the pcv to keep oil away.

 

Did they put a shield there or sell one to install there, if not most guys aren't very good fabricators so they would probably just use the valley pan gasket or the AMP one?

I couldnt find fully grooved mains easily. I found 3/4 groove, that is what I used.
Guess you could have them grooved.

Just looked on TA's site, they don't offer 3/4 groove for the 350.
Summit Racing has Sealed Power #4418M10
Says their 3/4 groove.
Pic shows Chevy mains (go figure!)
Description says 340 Buick V8 AND Olds 350.......... Huh?
Unless I'm not reading it right

 

My crank was cross drilled when it was built. Did you see the oil mods Mike did in my other post.
