For those that did not catch on.....upon a rash of harrassment, Phil chose not to go with "bamboo cream" and chose "Las Vagas Gold" instead. I cant wait to see this thing with the brown top on it! I think the brown top, interior, and all the chrome trim will help pull it all together.:TU:

My wife would love to have that bug in the yard behind that Buick...

The bug behind the Buick is a rock solid 1960 that has been in a garage since 1979. It was converted to a Baja Bug a long time ago. It is one of my own projects I recently picked up. The plan it to convert it to a Volksrod over the winter and then drive the wheels off it next summer. :TU:

Screw that original color that gold is awsome and it defines the GS as a pure class act, I love it.

    wheelz 'B' is for Buick.

THAT IS NICCE! I love the fact that you obviously spent a lot of TIME attending to details like... making sure the alignment of the door gaps are equal and straight! ONE of the most important details of good craftsmanship that is many times, overlooked. People just dont realize one could spend an entire day, delicately aligning body panels. VERY VERY NICE JOB! :TU: Excellent color too! :beer Wheelz, Tampa Bay

The picture is a little fuzzy but here is another. Two more panels (the trunk lid and hood) to prep, paint, and install and I will be done with this project. Phil will be putting the interior back together himself. It is scheduled to have the brown vinyl top put on this weekend (we hope! ). Thanks for the comments.

You two door guys are the lucky ones, you can find replacement panels for your cars, we wagon guys re left out in the cold with nothing. LOL

I know what your saying...I had to make a lot of patch panels for my '68 when I restored it so I feel your pain. :TU:

Tonights progress.....Im getting a little anxious to finish up:laugh: . Im excited to get to work on some of my own projects this winter (1960 Volksrod, 464 in my '68 GS along with a disc brake swap and suspension upgrades). I have my next job lined up for the spring also- a 1971 Chevelle with a 4speed and big block stroker. I desperatly need a bigger shop!
