Hello again V8Buick.com members, I've made a couple of posts in "The Bench" section of your community in the last 24 hrs, but wanted to start a discussion in "The Hobby Lobby" section also. I am with GreenLight Collectibles, the die-cast manufacturer that is releasing the 1:64 1968/69 Buick die-cast model car in the next month or so. We'd been contacted by one of your members about the die-cast, and the discussion led to a brainstorm session about the possibility of GreenLight producing a V8Buick.com Exclusive die-cast car in the near future for the community. What are your collective thoughts on this? Would a V8Buick.com exclusively branded car be appealing to the members here? Is the website set-up to handle a selling scenario or would this have to be run through one of our die-cast dealers (an online dealer who we could reference the members to once the item is in process)? Let me know what you think about this idea/concept. Thanks in advance! Russell J. Hughes GreenLight Collectibles Director of Corporate Sales & Marketing
I'm in for a few no matter what the packaging is. When are these going to be available for purchase at local stores? The question is, when are the 1:18 scales being built?
I would be in for afew 68 GS400 hardtops.Stock 68 would be really cool something like this------- Tim
I'm game,it would be nice if a poll for color schemes or a member car is used for the model or models.
Russ, I ordered 3 from the Ebay site, just got word earlier tonight that they were shipped, had to wait 4 - 5 weeks but worth the wait, now you have to do a 69 GS hardtop :idea2:
