dash removal

Hello Everyone, I need to remove the dash pad and instrument cluster from my 1972 GS. Does anyone know where the mounting tabs are located?

Thank you UticaGeoff, this information is what I was looking for.

 

Remove the glove box and there two nuts BEHIND the pad. They are between the center vent and glove box liner. Take those off and 100 other screws around the bezel and the pad will pull off the 2 side and one center pins and about 5-6 clips along the edge just below the windshield. AC hoses are the worst part of the job IMHO.

Dont force any 40+ year old plastic, but it will take a few "karate" chops to seat back in. ws
