Thanks, Chris. YUP, had it a very long time. Can't remember life before it, but was driving a flathead Ford (among others) when I bought it, if that means anything.

Didn't get much of a chance to talk to you at Commerce, hope to see you there in April. Love your car. Envious of anyone that lives in Florida at this time of the year. (snow forecasted here for tonight again)

Funny Dave you mention cold..............here in Bakersfield its actually about 38-40 degrees in the morning, kinda funny to watch my neighbors pour hot water on their windsheilds to get them to defrost quickly :) While I have my remote starter and the deforst set before I leave my truck the night before :beer About 5 minutes and my windshield is clean :)

I have remote start on my daily driver and it works ever so nicely.

Finally got my Jan 05, MCE yesterday! Actually got 5 of them all at the same time from 3 different sources. Looks like all the pics were from Morocco FAST meet last spring.

Thanks zillions to Steve Stratham for a great writeup and the opportunity to get into their super magazine. He didn't miss a trick. Hard to top that, but supposed to be on American Musclecar in an upcoming video clip. Who knows what kind of trouble I'll be in after that. :bglasses:

    Hey, congrats, Dave!

Some guys on the Diecast site were wondering what color is your car. Care to disclose?

    Happy holiday!

    Thanks, Diego.

Color is Ocean Turquoise, white Ramrod emblems, black pinstripe, black interior. I got an email from a guy from there and filled him in. One of the 1/18th Ertl diecasts is in that combination on a 442 with the band aid stripe. I also sent him a pic of my red and black Hurstish W30. That'd be an easy one with the matador Red one they have.

The colors weren't exactly right in the article. It was a very dark cloudy day in Morocco when they were shot. Ones from Atlanta were a little clearer and hit the color a little better. Car looks more blue than green in person.

Where's this die-cast site? Is it a message board as well?
