Dear V8Buick.com, I joined your community a little over 8 years ago. In that time I have been treated exceptionally well by the majority of persons that I have met here. I have also gained invaluable knowledge and insight into not just my Buick related project(s) but with my other vehicles as well. I visit this site almost every day and most days, several times a day. It has become a very comfortable place to hang out and share ideas with like minded persons. It is not that I am planning on leaving or retiring or anything like that. I just wanted to say THANK YOU for all that you do.
This forum is the only way me and my pops built his car or find Chris the crack spider and him helping me purchase my GS awesome people Killer parts deals. Etc.......
I agree this is a great site so much knowledge it is amazing. It has helped me to discover you are never to old to learn. Bob H.
Aside from a very few minor conflicts with a couple of members, have had a great time here and look fwd to visiting each day. Could not have built the Riv or the Regal without the help and input from the members. Its going on 10 years for me.
This is family in a special kind of way. I was a member of this site since before the first big server crash in the late 90's early 2000's. Basically when GSCA site stopped functioning and this board was born, I was a member. This site has given me way more than I have given back. I am so very grateful to all the great people on here. Lee, thanks for pointing this out!!!
There's good reason why V8Buick is second (behind google) on my Favourites list. There's SO much knowledge and experience here. I've meet one member, Doug so far. In June we're meeting another! So thanks to V8Buick, Anne & I now have friends in Canada & the USA. Regards, Chris
I really injoy this site, I have got A lot of help on here .I love cars and it's nice to talk to people about our cars,I feel like I have made A lot of friends on hear to. Dwayne
I have only been on the site for a little over a year and the help that I have received has been invaluable. I have been restoring my GS for a about the same period of time. I am hopeful to have it done this summer. It is my first restoration and I could never have done it without the members that have graciously helped me with advice, parts and support. I too visit this site on a daily basis. The wealth of knowledge the members have and their willingness to take the time to share it never ceases to amaze me. Thanks again to Jim Weise.
Well said, no doubt about it, the people on this site are so nice and helpful, I have learned so much. I have been on other vehicle forums where your are made to feel stupid when you ask questions because everyone else on the site is "so smart" not here. Great great people.
Yep, Iremember when it took a week or so to see a response, threads moved r e a l s l oooooo www. I been banned and back. I really like the fact you can get response from real Kenne Bell bonified gentlemanly persons on up to Mike TA the man himself. You can also have the worst speling and grammer and not hear about it. Cheers to J.W. and his band of merry moderators. The man from down under and everyone inbetween.!
