did i do the right thing? 1966 skylark scoop

that was actually something i was thinking about doing once i put the scoop on. Only thing was mine was split in 2 and i was tired of searching for parts at that moment so i gave in. I am painting all my trims black though.

 

it looked real nice. the special hood without the spear though looks best besides the gs hood to me. like this en

 

Wanted to show my progress on where i am right now. I have all trims and bumpers. Just waiting on the bolts and clips to come in now. Before installing though i need to get the paint water sanded and buffed.
