I do not like "pressure sales" but want to let everyone know so they can purchase these parts while they are still available. My 2 piece Front Spoiler mold is developing a crack on the back half of the mold. The front still looks perfect, and the back is almost unnoticable. (You would have to crawl completely under the car to even see it.) Therefore, we are making as many of these as possible before the mold breaks. I have no intention of building another mold, so when she goes that's it. I now have spoilers in stock to fill all my back orders, including the ones from Year One, and have a few extras besides. These parts were developed for the Show Cars, but lately I have been selling more to the racers as they like how they withstand 100+ mph runs. I will be taking orders on these on a "first come-first serve" basis, and will be attending both the GSCA & BPG National events and can deliver them to either show. So if you want one here is your chance. Duane
Duane is there a difference on the 70 vs 71-2 spoiler? I ended up with a fiberglass cheap one somewhere and when I went to hold it up to the car it looked like it wouldnt fit. I guessed I wasnt holding it up correctly but somewhere I got it in my head it wasnt right. Oh yea how much are yours?
The 70 style mounts to the hood latch brace in the center, then to the core support and finally to each fender. When they were trimmed the mounting surface follows the top curve of the spoiler, so when you look at these they appear to have a "V" shape. The 71-72 style mounts all the way across the rad support, with only the end two holes mounting to each fender. To do this they included a triangular piece at the center when they were trimmed. These will also look like a "V" but with an added triangular gusset at the back. My spoilers are a composite material that includes fiberglass and plasticizers. The material is injected into a mold and is finished on both sides, and is about 3/8" thick. (This is not a thin hand-layed fiberglass spoiler like some of the other companies sell.) The spoiler comes with all the mounting and clearance holes pre-drilled, just like the originals, and I include an installation sheet that also lists the hardware needed for the install. The mold was made off an NOS spoiler and came out so clean that you can see all the thin lines on the front, and the molding marks on the back. I developed these to look exactly like the originals for the Concours Show Car Classes, but for the last few years I sell more of them for the race cars then the show cars. The cost is $229.00 for the spoiler. Duane
John, Just let me know how many of each year you want and I will put your name on them. I don't have many extras and that way I can reserve them for you. Besides, I was hoping you would bring the non-AC kicks to the Nats so we can do some swapping. Duane
Duane, I beleive extra parts are always a good idea. Especially since these are very accident prone. Please put me down for a complete 70 style, and I will pick it up at the nationals. Thanks Bill.
I'll take 2 1970, do you have the baffles also?....I'll be in BG on Thursday..... I sent you a PM.......
I am in for one spoiler also. Do you have enough now that you want me to send the money now or do I need to wait. Mark
Well between the PM's, E-mails, and posts on this thread we have now exceeded the number of both 70 & 71-72 spoilers I have in stock. We will continue making them till I leave for the GSCA Nats, and I believe we can fill all the orders so far. Mark, I put your name on the list, but there is no need to send the money now. Do you want to pick it up or would I be shipping it? Duane
OK, I`ll bite on this thread Duane I had an original,or rather OEM, on the front of my car which was trashed during a few wrecks so I will take a '72' year set up. if you have time PM me the cost to 32967 zip code thanks, Pete
I will take a 71 style. I'd like to pay you now, and have a buudy pick it up at the nats. Thanks, Allen Mandeen
