and then you have the salt flat racers with st-8's going 160 something. big money in those engines.

I always get a kick outa this... theres is something peculiarly familiar about it. Reminds me of a runaway locomotive. LOL... ws

it was for sale. think it was jeff who had/has cancer and the money for his cancer. don't know if sold or who owns it now. there was a couple of old timers building another Bonneville car. kept blowing rods out the side. no idea what they are doing now. couple months ago there was a fed in az with a st-8 that goes low 10's, hi 9's for sale for 16k. cool car. don't see too many nailhead race cars out there.

 

And to push that great big ark at 160+ mph takes some serious horsepower.
