Do you see older beaters / daily drivers where you are?

    Smokey15 So old that I use AARP bolts.

    Monday, I washed, gassed and stored my wife's beater Dakota for the winter. Not that it's worth anything. The old Boyd's rims and BFGs are worth more than the truck. ;) It's just damned helpless in snow and not needed.

    There is a lot of mid 80s to mid 90s beaters still doing there thing around here. Some late 70s to mid 80s still smogging up the prairie. Most that have been on the road that long suffer from severe rot like in the great lakes/north east beaters do at 15yrs old. Mostly pickups, Buicks, and full size GM cars and wagons

    I hardly see any Oldsmobiles or Plymouths anymore. Pretty rare to see anything from the 80s.

    There are a few guys driving 70s pickup trucks around town that have definitely seen better days. There are also a couple early 60s Chevy wagons floating around but not much else.
