Does anyone have a set of buckets and console for a 67 Fullsize?

I'm looking to convert my Wildcat over to buckets and floor shift console, right now it's just the bench and regular column.
I imagine this is going to take a while...buckets colour is irrelevant, I think 67-68 are similar and will interchange, (because of the 430) not sure if 66 will.
Will consider a tach once I find the console and shifter, not before.

The seat frames are the same as an A body (at least they were in my '68 Wildcat), and the console was used for several years ('64 maybe to '68 for sure, maybe '69). Maybe that broadens your search?

I have a complete black bucket seat interior out of my 68 Wildcat 2dr. This is the non custom interior with the a body style seats. Door panels armrests back seat- no speaker grille- with non operating short console. Also have a 66 Wildcat auto console, fair shape and should have both column shift and floor shift tilt columns.

gm seats were same big car as a body upholstery all that's different depending on division
67 seats can be very expensive as they had metal backs and I believe one year only. Every year a little different on latches style, plastic backs or metal ,high back or low back.
but Ive seen lots of gm cars with incorrect year seats and most people wouldnt know
I have a 67 console Id love to sell , I dont think I have the shiftier Ill look if your interested

Wow; I had no idea there would be that many responses that quick.
I had no idea A-Body seats would be the same. Are the seat rails similar to the bigger seats? I still want to incorporate my 6 way power seat, I realize that the far set of cables will be a lot shorter. (probably have to get a set made up)

Ok; Jon, please PM me with pictures and a price on those 68 seats and the console. It's going into a 67 Wildcat, the upholstery is going to have to be changed out to white anyway. (The interior is white seats and doors on black carpet and dash) The 66 Wildcat columns won't do me any good; the 67 design is different. They added hazard flashers and changed the signal light set up for 67.

Roy, if you've got a proper date-coded full-size 67 console in black, I'm interested; - hopefully the shifter is around too. I'd need any wiring, shifter cables and boots too, obviously. PM me please if you find it. As for the seats, which ones were correct for the Wildcat? Low bucket with metal back? I've never seen a set.

Now the expensive part will be shipping to Canada...yeah, I wonder how that will shake out.
I guess I have some more research and decisions to make...Thanks guys!

Finally, a half decent picture of what I'm looking for; so was the console was the same from 66 to 68? Obviously the Skylark or A-Body one was different., at least it looks this way. Take your time looking for the stuff, I'm headed off to Europe in a couple of weeks and won't be in a position to buy anything Buick related until at least late October or November; - had no idea this was going to go that quick! - Thanks for the pics and info Roy!

    Jon Haley,
I will take the 66 Wildcat Floor Shift Tilt Wheel
Maybe the console depending on condition.
Have the shifter and linkage for the floor console?

Thanks for the pics; - that helps a lot. I assume the shifter is connected to the transmission via a cable and a bracket; - were they the same ones used in Skylark? And, I guess the original shifter linkage from the column is still used as well, the drum still rotates, only the handle is gone and there's no detent lock on the column?
Sorry for all the questions, it's just that I'm trying to figure out if this is even viable to do or not. I want to make sure I get all the right stuff , not wind up with something half-baked and impossible to put right because some piece is unobtainable.
It looks like I still may be able to install the factory 8 track above the tach, there still might be enough room...
Nice to see I'm not the only one who used a chrome Rivi steering wheel horn bar; - looks better than the original black one did.

Linkagefrom shifter is- metal rod that goes down through floorpan- to a pivoting bracket bolted to bottom of floorpan (under car). that moves a long rod to the trans shift input shaft.

The chrome horn bar is part of the custom level on the wildcat along with the metal door panels

Really? Mine is a Custom with the metal door panels, and it had a black 3 spoke wheel. I got the horn bar out of a 66 Riviera. Every other Custom trim Cat I pulled parts from in the 90s had the black one. Of course the parts catalog and the sales brochure show nothing; maybe the Canadian spec one was different. Either way, it's a lot prettier than the straight black one.

Maybe it is a us spec to Canadian spec difference ????
I've only come across a few custom trim cars but all had chrome trim horn
    So I assumed
    Great unsolved mystery

Dave is your car buckets ?
Now I'm wondering if maybe since the buckets and consoles cars since they used a non column shift steering column were different horn trim
    ?
    I'm just guessing now

My interchange catalog lists the 67-68 narrow 3 spoke wheel as black, and the 66 Riviera as a one year only chrome on a 3 spoke. The narrow three spoke was used on Wildcat Custom and Electra as well as Riviera, and it had a black horn bar. 66 Riviera used the narrow 3 spoke as standard, and used a wooden wheel as deluxe. The 3 spoke had a chrome bar only. 66 Electra and Wildcat (except Custom, which used wood as an option) used a 2 spoke with black horn bar.
So it appears the chrome horn bar was pirated off of a 66 Riviera.

I think this is where we agree to disagree
Knowing the history of my old wildcat
I would have to and the few I've seen
The factory's did do strange things back in the day

Let's get back to you finding the parts now that you need
