Doris Day, real target of Charles Manson?

Doris Day has passed. Not many know her Son Terry Melcher who was producer and good friend to The Beach Boys actually gave Charles Manson an audition but he turned him down. Apparently Day owned the house where Melcher lived but when his life was threatened she had him move out. They then either rented or sold the house to Tate. Manson came to the house expecting to find Melcher and Day but instead found Tate and the rest is history. Maybe if Manson was a better musician? Melcher may also may have been the owner of the Chevy 409 that they used for the sound effects in The Beach Boys Classic. It’s a good story anyway! Who knew Doris Day had a connection to Charles Manson? Raise your hand.

 

I heard that Dennis Wilson was the previous owner of the house and that he was the real target of Charlie Manson...

Dennis certainly knew them but I am pretty sure it was not his house.

A fun fact, good ole Charlie Manson was a 33 degree Freemason and so was Ted Bundy, Jeffery Damher and John Wayne Gacy. I wonder how many more serial killers were Freemasons?

 

Wow Derek, you really need to start fact checking and stop reading Illuminati conspiracy crap. NONE of those people were Freemasons. I do know about the Beach Boy/ Manson /Tate connection. There are weird things that are true, and they are interesting. But, you have to be able to know the difference.

 

Good response Frank. My Grandfather was high up in the Masons too. He died when I was 15 so before I was interested in asking him more about it. The fact that so many of our founders were Masons make them big targets for the left making false claims. Pretty sad. Knocks like that hurt people and I am sure some of them are here.

I got invited to be a freemason for real back when I lived in the town I'm from. All us firemen did. Weird building. Good pancakes though.....

You know, now that you mention it, I do remember there being a mural on the wall in that Masonic temple of Clint Eastwood, Barbara Streisand, Jane Fonda, John Travolta, and James Woods all playing naked twister with Eisenhower, both Roosevelts, Charles Manson, and Thomas Jefferson all watching..... I didn't quite understand it at the time, but I get it now.....

 

Well Derek...I'm a Mason. Yes there are some celebs that are masons. The link is more fake news/propaganda. We are your worst nightmare, because we are transparent and real masons don't flaunt it. We are presidents, politicians, celebrities, judges, lawyers, police, firefighters, doctors, EMT's, mailmen, teachers, professors, wealthy people, truck drivers, union workers, business owners, regular people, and poor people. Admittedly, at one time we did wield great power and influence for the greater good. That's the bad news. The good news is we help each other and regular people, and no...we have no desire or goal to control the world. Remember that guy that gave you a couple $ or filled your tank when you ran empty? The guy that helped you change a flat? The cop that gave you a break? It's likely at least one of them was a mason. I've done a ton of stuff like that, trying to make the world a better place. Afterwards, I never...never ever...say "By the way, I'm a mason and don't you ever forget it!" You will never hear a celebrity come on a talk show and say "by the way, I'm a mason". If they do say that then they are definitely not a mason. There are plenty of crazy nut ball clubs and cults in the world to pick on. You need not fear us...

 

I apologize if I divulged some of the Freemason's secrets, Frank...... Please don't turn me in to the powers that be and get my family or myself deported and thrown into financial ruin or prostitution....just remember, I didn't mention the painting of George Washington shaking hands with what appeared to be a Martian complete with some sort of spaceship in the hemp fields outside Mount Vernon.....
