I'm looking for a dual sync distributor for my 455 EFI build.

I'm looking for either a dual sync distributor or a GN cam sensor that I can convert to use.

I dont think they make a dual sync dizzy for the 455......I know ppl have used the gn cam sensor on other builds but not sure how drop in it is

I would rather use the GN sensor.

Are you sure you want the CAM< sensor? or do you mean a CRANK sensor? The CAM sensor would require a bunch of re-configuring: new custom distributor drive gear ( tooth count and shaft diameter is different than 455)
The CRANK sensor is readily available aftermarket...https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/c4/crankshaft-position-sensor/-49997796?term=crankshaft position sensor&isFitted=1
    The CAM sensor isn't cheap...https://www.highwaystars.net/sensor-camshaft-position-cam-sensor-gm-25516915/
Or iF you REALLY want pain...https://www.thepartsplaceinc.com/pr...position-sensor-gm-25518357-or-25516915/64736

It cross as NTK part EC0091, but is out of stock.
Years ago, it WAS available by GP Sorensen, complete with the GM part number 25516915...

Those prices are obscene. What is a cam sensor but a distributor with one tooth on the reluctor.

I have found one that is cheaper than the one on parts place. I will try and use it or a hyperspark distributor with some modifications.

He needs a cam sensor... it provides a number one sync signal to the Holley EFI to allow sequential injection as well as coil near plug ignition operation.

I have used the GN cam sensor several times, in both 350's and 455's with just a gear change.. drops right in.

Problem is the price.. when I did the planning for the first EFI setup, some years ago, a brand new Standard Ignition PC 16 cam sensor was $169.00,,, Then Standard Ignition quit making them, and that price doubled overnight.. I have seen them as high as $400..

But at least, if you pay the price, you can conquer that issue, a real world, workable crank trigger for a true street car, is another issue all together. Not so much an issue with a race motor, the $400 MSD universal kit will get you there... or an adapted BBC kit... but for a street setup, than needs the centering lip on the balancer to properly locate the crank pulley, it's more of an issue. And the 1/4 to 3/8 thickness of an aluminum magnetic trigger wheel, puts a serious hurting on the accessory belt alignment.

Was going to use a 60-2 wheel, but no 7" wheel exists to my knowledge.. and 7" is the max we can go, before hitting the timing cover/water pump, above the balancer.

The current one I am working with had an adapter made that went on the OD of the balancer lip, and with some creative machining, I was able to use a 7"sbc mag trigger wheel, with a custom made bracket for the hall effect sensor. But I still got over $300 bucks in that setup. Before the custom made bracket..

We have a simpler solution in the works.. a dedicated Buick 350/455 magnetic trigger wheel... also going to experiment with a 60-2 version.

Jim this would had bern nice.........I have a sbc set on my mine. Now.......
A thin wheel like from fast uses would help ith the pulley offset issue

Ya, there is a market for it, for sure..

Hopefully you will have a solution soon that is easier than piecing together other parts.

I run the GN cam sensor set up on my EFI big block Buick. One thing to be mindful of is there is a length difference between between the two make sure you measure distributors and shim accordingly
