dynaflow, or super turbine transmission part called an anchor?

    I have a few of these parts, not sure what they are for. at least one is new in the box, the others, I'm not sure if they're new or not. the box(United Delco) part description says "anchor" the p/n is, 1GM1352975. does anyone know what these are?

    Isn't the while Dynaflow transmission an anchor?:D:D
