R.I.P. Cool dude. He loved Pittsburgh. And New York. He also served as a Police officer. Brooklyn.

I believe his real last name was Mahoney.

Kind of fitting for a Brooklyn cop.

    I always loved Eddie Money!
He poured himself into his performances, heart and soul.

It seemed like he absolutely loved what he was doing and it showed in his songs.

Hope he got his "Two Tickets to Paradise!"

    R.I.P.

Esophageal Cancer. He announced he had it about a month ago. It was Stage Four I think.

Liked his music, he did some hard living though, 70 was probably a gift, RIP.

Smokey15 So old that I use AARP bolts.

Wife & I saw him in concert. He gave his all. Had the audience in his hands. Great entertainer. Favorite has to be "Shakin'"

Born and raised LongggIslander -- until he moved to California for his singing career....
Now he needs "one ticket to paradise"....

Hard partier -- lucky, indeed to live to age 70!!!!! R.I.P., Eddie, guess it's time to "Take you home tonight."
We'll enjoy your heart and music for decades more....

I saw Eddie Money three times. Best was at the Old Club Bene in Jersey. You could go for dinner and dance at the Club Bene. Eddie and his band back then would make you want to get a close to them as possible. RIP EDDIE

This is one of my favorites

He said back in the Day. He had a coke problem. Never hiding the addiction. He was outspoken about it. But made it to 70.

Saw him in the late 80's outside in the heat! He didn't complain! Him and his band got up and rock there asses off! Old school rocker!
