    I'm going to change from 2bbl intake to 4bbl intake and add a throttle body EFI made by Holley.
    anyone else has done this swap? I have the old points style dist and was thinking about
    a pertronix retrofit.
    Just throwin' it out there for comments/suggestions.

    If the Holley can control an ignition coil with timing control you don't need the pertronix. I would research what tach signal inputs the Holley will accept, it may just need a single wire from the points and then a single wire to the ignition coil.

    I have the Holley Terminator and it will control timing of you use a small cap HEI. I have an MSD box so I'm not using that feature. If starting from scratch I would use the small cap HEI and let the Holley ECU control timing.

    Second the suggestion to control ignition coil (Re: Efi)

    Dear 25yrBuickTECH, Randal, Bill, and V-8 Buick fans of high-tech,

    I just upgraded my trusty wagon to a FAST Sportsman system with the E6 Ignition controller box and I've been extremely pleased with the improved control. If you can afford the package deal and are willing to put the extra effort involved to get a good tune, I believe you will be very satisfied with the outcome.
