17 degrees, flurries and sunshine! Rain washed away most of the salt and the sun dried out the roads nicely so a good opportunity for a bit of automotive exercise before the next storm!

Ran like a charm. Roll on summer!

    Nice little Electra!
Must be nice to be able to cruise it!
Yeah, it'll be at least late April or maybe into May before I can even think of letting the cars out again. (sob..):(

I took advantage of a brief window of opportunity to go for a spin. I too was not expecting to be able to get out until April at the earliest.

Next snow event starts today and by tomorrow may have another 2-6 inches on the ground.

The short drive did wonders for the winter blues though :)

Thats a mighty stately looking 747 over looking the Quabbin Reservoir (?)! If I ever own one of those again (soon I hope) Im gonna get a surplus NORDEN bombsight and mount it to the floor as a console! ws

Spot on ID of the location, Bill! Quabbin reservoir from the loop road.

Patrick - the wheels are American Racing Torq Thrust II (VN215) 18x8 5x5 bolt spacing and 0 offset/4.5 back spacing wrapped with Kumho Crugen KL33 235/55

The 18" wheel presents the same visual center diameter as a standard wheel with a whitewall tire. I think they compliment the sleek (yes, a nearly 20 ft long car can be sleek!) lines of the car.

Our ‘family’ cars were a ‘69 and ‘76, both four foor hardtops. Yes, a car that big, with that many doors, can be sleek when styled right. Great cars! I love yours, the wheels are a good choice. I like your logic in choosing the size; too often people ignore offset and overall diameter and screw it up. My dad would have lowered the rear about two inches.

!!! I like spotting places if I have a few clues to go on! I got the Buick thing from my dad. he always had the 225's /Park Avenues etc. Once in a while even a Ford Model T. He was about 18 when he bought the first new one LOL... ws

Good combo. Large rims perfectly accentuating the lines.

Speaking of Model Ts - I had mine out yesterday for a brief run. The first time in six weeks, I have been very busy lately. How can a Human ever be bored? The 91 year-old gal ran perfectly.

X2 John! I retired at 50 (12+) years ago and there doesnt seem to be enough time in the day to finish what I start in the morning. Boredom is not a word I have in my vocabulary.

    Mommmmmmm, I'm bored.... ws
