Some weird things are going on with my turn signals. With the headlights on...Left works fine, but the right signal causes the Hi-Beams to come on weakly and blink. This also causes the Hi-Beam indicator on the dash. I gotta say, I do love the little red light on the dash...…. Could it be a ground issue? Is that simple braided ground strap on the firewall and the battery negative cable, the only grounds in play here? Any and all comments welcome. Thanks, Mike
There are ground wires that ground to the radiator support by the headlight buckets. Check those. The back up light issue may or may not be related. Its a possibility the neutral safety switch might need to be adjusted. If you move gear selector around in reverse, do they go out?
With all that stuff going on it is a ground issue. there are several grounds depending on the model and year. look under thr left and right kick pads, one or two in the trunk, could be either or both sides. there is also ones under the seats depending which model if both seats or just one side or the other. If you can search for a ground distbution chart for your car. Al
Thanks all. I think the Back-up lights may be a separate issue as I just finished washing the car. I'll check the ground by the right headlight bucket as suggested. I believe I cleaned the left side when I was trouble shooting the wipers so I'm hopeful this will solve it. Thanks ALL
Bulbs and Grounds are the major cause . Bulbs and Grounds . Check parking lights then turn 4 way flashers on at same time . Check bulbs
