Engine mounts

I'm installing a '95 Roadmaster lt1 (5.7) in my '50 Chevy 3100 pickup. I installed a IFS from Speedway Motors and added from them the compatible engine mounts which were sold as mounts for the "SBC." I didn't think there would be any issue with the mounts bolting into place, after all, I reckoned that I'm dealing with a GM small block. I didn't suspect that the mounting bosses on the Buick were different than Chevy. (The Buick has two mounting holes up on one mount boss and two holes down on the other...Chevy both the same). So the SBC engine mounts won't work...well, only one will!
Have any of you encountered this issue? Do you know who might possibly sell mounts that would work with my application or suggestions on a work-around?
Addendum...I had a fabricator cut the mounting plate off of one of the mounts and reverse it. With the other side bolted in place, this one is a solid inch of being "wide" enough to match up with the bracket on the IFS. I don't know besides welding trial and error how to make them fit. They'll both need to be moved in tandem or the engine won't set level.
    Any input will be appreciated.

I don't think there is Buick anything with what you are describing. That is basically an Impala with a Buick emblem on it. It is all Chevy under the hood.

knucklebustedā€¦A question you can't answer...so did Speedway Motors make a manufacturing mistake when welding their motor mount plates for the sbc? They claim not. Both plates that mount to the engine that Speedway sells for a sbc has two mounting holes on top, one at the bottom. My engine has the mounting bosses on one side the opposite of the other, i.e., two up one down and one up, two down. There is a disconnect somewhere. I kept the original mounts that were on the engine. They are made so that the mount can be bolted to either side, (two holes up or one...flipped over if you will), and the mounting bolt will be level with the other side. You can't do that with the Speedway Motors sbc mounts.
Can you answer this question...why did GM alternate the mounting bosses on the block?
