Ok so finally getting to my project, the motor and tranny are done, now to get my butt in gear and get the car ready.
So my first question is the wiring swap for my t-type. I have been told to get the complete engine wiring harness for a v6 motor and thats what I have done, so when I do go and use the v6 one, do I use the whole computer box and everything or just part of the wiring harness or ?

You will NOT need the computer itself, but will have to do some "mix and match" on the wiring. The harness PROBABLY has the CCC ignition system instead of the old points system or even "ordinary" HEI. If the harness is from a 1982 or newer car, it will be the CCC. CCC controlled ignition via the computer sensors. If there are Weather-pack connectors (round plastic terminals, in anything from one to six terminals on the connector), you have CCC harness.

DUH :Dou: if it has a computer IT IS CCC.
