Does anyone have the correct factory information on mounting the front spoiler on a 70 GSX? I have the 71 info. however I don't have it for 70. I actually need info. on the hardware as I believe it is different from the 71-72's. Also was the center support used on the 70 version? Bill
Bill, I have some of those sheets made up and often include them when I sell the spoilers/baffles. I am pretty sure the Steven Dove book also shows the information. The only difference between the mounting of a 70 vs 71-72 is that the center mount for the 70 is mounted to the hood latch brace. The 71-72's mount only to the core support and fenders. Yes originally the 70 also had the center brace, however if you purchased one of my thicker repro front spoilers you don't need one. Also, mine are made of a harder material, and if you put a center brace on it you need to be careful that you don't chip it when drilling the hole. Duane
