Todd, Is this used on AC and non-Ac cars ? Do you have a picture of the correct location and mounting location.

    Great part!

As an aside, mine doesn't bolt snug to my B4B. Like, the bolt doesn't bottom out.

Brett, do you feel a shorter bolt would have worked better ? I have them in 1/2" and 3/4". (You probably have a 3/4" bolt and it might be bottoming out before it's tight ???)

    Brett,

The clip (as GM calls it) should be fastened with a bolt & a washer. Look at drawing # 1-10.4 in your assembly manual.

    Todd,

I feel like a shorter bolt would definitely be a better fit.

    Matt,

I tried a couple different washers but still wasn't snug like I feel it should be.

    Brett,

The bolt should be 20-30 lb-ft of torque. I'd think that would keep it from moving at all.

There's about a 1/4 inch play between the bracket and the intake.

Unless there's supposed to be some play?

A quarter inch!! Wow - post a picture. I just put my '71 up to the B4B and it looks like it will bolt down tight.
