The date of October 5th has been solidified.

Dennis, (MYBUICKS) his son Paul and myself have collaborated on a morning/afternoon Buick run slated for Saturday, October 5th.

It begins in Seekonk, MA - with a cruise to the Newport Car Museum and culminates with lunch in Little Compton, RI. See the link below for more information.

Those of you who have already signed up through the event site will be receiving an email update shortly.

I grew up in that area (Pawtucket, RI). There’s a lot of beautiful scenery. It’s gonna be a great ride! Too bad I live in Kansas now.:(

Nope. To serve my country. Stationed at McConnell AFB and when I got discharged, there were better jobs here than at home. I’m the only guy in my building who can drive through snow.

I just wish it was earlier in the month, then I’d be all over it

    Less than 3 months away.

Local folks should join in on the fun.

Just checking the date. June 20th is a Thursday, right? Any particular reason for a Thursday?

If I don't break the Electra between now and then I might just join in if for no other reason than to make every other car look great :)

    Bump.

Just got word that the Newport Car Museum in Newport, RI is going to rope off an area for us and supply coffee and donuts. They're also going to advertise ahead of time.

Donuts! Well that seals it....I need to be there. And I need to get a firsthand look at Bob's EFI scar :_)

Still hoping to make this event and there is some progress on the EFI project despite the finger injury.

Not going to be much to see. Got annoyed with the stitches so had them removed yesterday. Healing nicely. Doc says I should avoid putting to much pressure on it for a few weeks... well that ship already sailed :)
