FITECH setup question

    I'm going to start ordering parts today. I'll order an Fitech TB, Tanks inc tank and pump, the 30 micron filter and some lines and fittings.
    I am running a stock distributor with pertronics upgrade, am I ok to stick with it? Or would I be much better off upgrading now? keeping in mund i want to be able to use the GS air cleaner.
    If so, what is suggested? I have little knowledge of distributors other than stock.

    I THINK the Fitech is ok with whatever trigger system you have, be that an HEI module or Pertronix. If there are issues I've not seen anyone complain like with the FAST. EZEFI where ANYTHING but an ignition box tach output seemed to cause nonstop problems. That said I don't think the factory air cleaner will sit right on the throttle body unless you are willing to whittle on the little tabs at the front of the mounting surface or grind a couple notches in your new throttle body.

    I read in another thread that a 1/4" spacer is needed. I'll make it fit somehow i guess.
