Still looking for a good used flywheel for the 455/4 speed build in my '64 Special. So far its "unobtanium". Please PM me here or on 65GS board. Its holding up the show LOL... Also need two door jamb interior light switches and TWO kick panel courtesy lamp fixtures. ws
Bill, a member here bought an aluminum 4 spd flywheel from me back in Jan of 14. We thought it was a 350 part but turned out to be for 455. His real name is Dave Norton in Ohio. Maybe someone here will know his member name as I don't have it. Then you can pm him to see if he still has it. Hope this helps....
Of course theres a finders fee. 6 A.C. OEM green stripe spark plugs for the collection! just ordered a brand new billet wheel, but I am gonna start collecting these now. Whats the poop??? ws
It is a TA billet flywheel on cl okla under auto parts and was kidding on the finder fee that would be up to you
Wheelz never gets back to me with the final details... he has TOO much stuff LOL... This is the OKC T/A flywheel. Its the lightened steel version more for road racing apps. It looks OK with the balance weight in there. For 175.00 it's pretty fair, but I bought a new one, delivered yesterday from the guys that manufacture these for 249.00 with free shipping brand new. Where do I send a spark plug? Thanks, Bill https://tulsa.craigslist.org/pts/d/tulsa-buick-455-gs-billet-4-speed/6790146863.html
I have the TA one like the one pictured in the last 2 pics. Its lightened to 25 lbs. But i have 10:1 starting line ratio so it will be fine with the lighter wheel
No worries I have plenty spark plugs and my stock flywheel is installed and not changeing it out to much work
