    Hey yall,

I saw this on another one of the boards that i check out. thought you might like it............lotta good thinking here.

There are two types of people in this world - winners and losers.

Winners are the people who seem to have everything they need and desire. Losers are the ones who lack what they need and desire. Winners are successful. Losers are failures. Most of us and our children waver back and forth between the two extremes. We are winners, but then we become losers. Our luck changes and we become winners again.

Hopefully we want to be winners all the time. In order for us to do this we must be positive. We must teach our children to be positive. We must control those things in our lives that will make us positive or negative. We need to avoid ourselves of those things that arre negative. These may include a situation that produces a hostile environment. It may also be negative people with whom we or our children associate.

You must tell yourselves and your children daily...you are a good person and better than you think you are. Think success; don't think failure. Believe you are somebody. Say to yourself several times daily, "I am somebody and I will succeed."

Winners are primarily positive people with positive attitudes. A winner smiles easily and is willing to change ideas, dress, and behavior when appropriate. He is able to see the other person's point of view and almost never complains. This type of person accepts responsibility for his or her mistakes and seldom criticizes others. A positive person considers what is helpful or good for others. When talking to other people, a positive person practices good eye contact and look them in the eye. A winner respects the ideas and opinions of others, never makes excuses, and has a variety of interests. To summarize, a winner consistently displays positive attitudes.

A loser is primarily a negative person with negative attitudes. This person rarely smiles and is unwilling to change. He never sees anyone else's point of view. He complains about nearly everything and complains constantly. A loser blames others for his mistakes and is very critical of others. He thinks only of self - "What's in it for me?" Losers are often described as moody.

So let us all try to be more positive about everything, whether it is in racing, talking to our children, your job, or just general day to day problems. A winner will go far, a loser will go nowhere.

    Later.............................
