I have a documented 1971 GS 455 4 speed car that came with factory A/C, bucket seats, gauge package, sport wheel, N25, Consolette, AM/FM, white raised letter tires, a bunch of other smaller options, and to finish it off...... full disk hubcaps and an open rear end!

    Lol
You're going to have to fight my kid for that Camaro.
I let him move it in the driveway the other day and give it a "blip" of the throttle with some tire spin, and I saw that tell tale look in his eyes with the slightest, sly, wolfish grin.

I resemble that comment, too. Not being able to go an inspect the car myself, with all the uncertainty the pandemic is bringing doesn't help either. Not to mention the border is closed to all but essential trade.

If only it was a 71...My kids inheritance would have already taken the hit.

I found the car I mentioned earlier!

Wonder if Mark still has it? It even has the bat wing steering wheel.

It is probably my favorite car...he brought it to MCACN a couple years ago.

    Thanks again Larry.

I think someone digs it, lol.

This car just has a cool stance.
In my opinion it sits how they should.
This is how they appear in factory advertising pics.

    Tom,

    Great buy!

There was a twin to this on here a few years back out of Texas that I was chasing. Unfortunately, that was a dead end but I ended up with a different one that I'm lucky to own.

Drive the wheels off this! I'm psyched to see you letting your son not only learn how to drive a stick (on a Stage 1 4-speed car) but also getting him into the hobby.

    Kudos!

Congrats, Tom. I really wanted this car, but couldn’t even check the car out due to the pandemic. I bought a 12-second Pontiac G8 GT instead. I’m glad it’s in good hands.

Congrats Tom (& to your son). I really wanted it too but would've had to sell my '70 Stage 1 4-sp to do it. Otherwise it would've already been in my garage! Very neat car. Car is deserving of a good home.

    Thanks,
I didn't really have the money to do it either, the timing is horrible(isn't it always), I just made the decision to scrounge up the money and go for it.
It's a year/make/model I've always wanted, and the 4 speed ON TOP of the Stage 1 package......I wasn't going to get this opportunity again.
I don't really have the money to dump into a full resto right now, so the plan is the same as Larry's was, to make it a driver for now, much like the 70 GS that Jason Cook had.
Although I'm going to restore underhood appearance as new. I have to go through the engine anyway.

I was thinking the same if I got it. Definitely an opportunity that doesn't come along often for a car like that. Larry had told me it needed a front bumper & I have a nice core listed in the parts for sale. Did you get the NOS EGR valve w/it? That was the one part he had I would've Definitely wanted.
