Jim, I think I have your email address still. I can send you detailed pics of the motors, radio bezel, ect if you want this weekend.

I have removed and installed this option on a factory installed car without having to remove the fenders. The motors come out at the bottom of the kick panel area. I would imagine installing the wiring harness and drilling holes in the the exact location for the mounting studs on top of the cowl will be the hardest part.

Same here...we removed and went over the system in my Stage 1. They come out the kick panels.
Forced Air Ventilation was an "instead of air" option. Great option and easy to add.

Thanks for the information Ryan! I had no idea this was an option, or how rare it is. I have it but they need to be reworked. The blower sounds like its rubbing so I've always left it off. I now plan to fix this over the winter.

Free bump for a great option!

Question - for curiosity sake only - would you use a A/C dash panel with air duct for this option?

    Thanks, Matt

No, this option uses the non-air dash pad.

I mean instrument housing. A/C housing has port on left for air flow. Non A/C doesn't have that port. Again, would this option require A/C instrument housing in a non A/C car?

My 70 Stage 1 that had this option and it had an air vent on the LH side of the dash that could be opened and closed with one of the pull knobs on the non-air kick panel. No center vent, but there were vents on RH and LH sides.

I don't have the complete harness but I have the main parts that you would need to make it look factory behind the dash and not just a hack job.

Is there a way to find out how many of the 101 stage one 4 speeds had this option?
