I'm fighting the urge to go. I really don't like Matt Damon, don't know why. Probably because of the Team America movie hahaha.....so I definitely don't want to see him playing one of my heroes. That said, everybody I know who went to it last night texted and said how great it is, so I might cave. The lady has been asking to go to a movie......
Personally I dont think I can tolerate a Disney version of a true story.. I might watch it if or when it comes to TV..
I know that.. But its Disney.. I hate Todays Disney... Yesterday year Disney was cool.. Las Vegas was FUN.. Today the they both SUCK.
Adam carolla did a doc a couple of years ago about the race . He just sold it to Netflix it's called the 24hr war it's good in my opinion he also did a doc on Willie t ribbs . I believe it's on Netflix now.

Great book about this - more of a blow by blow of the events with a lot of back ground leading up to the refusal by Ferrari to sell to Ford: Go Like Hell by A.J. Baime Sheds light on how Ken Miles got screwed from first place too. Also, I did not know but the wealthy Mecom family of Texas tried to buy Ferrari before Ford but backed out when Ford jumped in. They also bought one of the 3 Lola Mk 6's that became the basis for the GT 40. They raced it for quite a while.

you know what I realized as I became older? Everyone has an opinion and it doesn't necessarily that you can agree with it. Mostly for viewers have low ratings for movies I actually fell in love with.
